Orlando Area Travel

Orlando vacations planned by a Central Florida local

Orlando can be magical or exhausting, depending on the plan. As a Central Florida-based advisor, we know the parks, the resorts, the seasons, and the shortcuts. We help families choose between Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, and everything else the area has to offer, then build a plan that leaves room for the pool.

Local know-how

Crowd patterns, weather, park hours, and which resorts make the most sense for your family come from someone who knows the area firsthand.

Park strategy

Ticket choices, ride reservations, dining bookings, and a day-by-day touring plan so you spend less time in lines.

Beyond the parks

Water parks, Kennedy Space Center, Gulf and Atlantic beach add-ons, and a Port Canaveral cruise extension.

Orlando Vacations FAQ

Questions families ask us

When is the best time to visit Orlando theme parks?

Late January through early February, late April through May (outside holiday weeks), and much of September through early November usually offer lighter crowds. The best time for you depends on school schedules, weather preferences, and special events. We’ll help you weigh the trade-offs.

Should we stay on-site at Disney or Universal?

Staying on-site often comes with perks like early park entry and convenient transportation, but it isn’t always the best value for every family. We compare on-site and off-site options based on your budget, group size, and touring style.

How many days do we need in Orlando?

Most families are happiest with 5–7 days for Walt Disney World, plus 2–3 if adding Universal Orlando. Building in a rest or pool day makes a big difference, especially with young kids or grandparents.
